*Reivindicaciones colectivas*
Somos artistas emergentes con poca experiencia profesional reacios a abandonar nuestra profesión frente a una política cultural global que llega a una selección cada vez más rígida e informatizada.
El arte debería mantenerse social y no elitista. Para no depender sistemáticamente de la autorización de los “otros”, ya no esperamos que alguien nos de la mano, nos la damos a nosotros mismos.
En el ambiente artístico, es común que las entidades contratadoras requieran a los candidatos un mínimo de 3 años de experiencia profesional. Esto limita.
La competencia, la descriminacion y el costo de los estudios desfavorece muy a menudo las mujeres, las personas racializadas, las personas queers, las personas en situación precaria,...
Si por fortuna, xl candidatx es seleccionadx, es ordinario que el salario sea indigno, que soporte abusos jerárquicos, emocionales, corporales, … el precio a pagar es alto.
Una factura compartida en varios sectores artísticos.
Por todo esto, hemos decidido trabajar de manera voluntaria únicamente para nuestros sueños.
Hemos decidido de instruirnos juntos para no reproducir un sistema injusto y soportar comportamientos violentos !
Hemos decidido aprovechar nuestras vidas y reivindicar nuestras ideas sin permiso.
Somos palomas de plazas públicas y del campo, de Europa y América. Somos una banda aparentemente caótica porque accionamos espontáneamente. Porque estamos al margen como tantos artistas de nuestra generación que se organizan para no seguir dinámicas establecidas sin decir nada.
Sigamos ideas comunes, maleables y no a una persona que detiene el poder de decisión.
Reunámonos y compartamos nuestros conocimientos. Valoremos nuestro trabajo y reivindiquemos nuestros derechos para no normalizar la vida precaria de las personas que trabajan en el sector artístico.

*Organización*
La estructura, compuesta de diferentes grupos sin jerarquía , es destinada a metamorfosearse y expandirse para incluir nuevos.as colaboradores.as
Para ser una banda alegre y viable, nos reunimos regularmente para reuniones y asambleas. Juntos nos vamos de viaje, hacemos fiestas y compartimos desayunos.
Los roles establecidos son intercambiables para repartir las responsabilidades comunes con el objetivo de que todas las palomas puedan aprender con la práctica.
Priorizamos lo más posible el consenso y utilizamos el voto solamente para las decisiones simples.
Cada Paloma se dedica a la altura de sus capacidades y voluntad.
*Solidaridad*
Pensamos que todxs ganamos compartiendo información sin miedo a la competición ni a la concurrencia.
Por eso documentamos las informaciones (open calls, lugares de residencias, anuncios, audiciones, etc… ) en nuestras redes accesibles a las personas externas del colectivo que puedan estar interesadas.
Creemos que la precariedad puede influenciar a los artistas a adoptar un comportamiento individualista y perder parte de su integralidad.
Con Las Palomas, nos reunimos para apoyarnos, poner en común nuestros conocimientos y poder considerar alternativas. Todos tenemos derecho a convocar una asamblea para recibir un apoyo emocional, un feedback sobre nuestra actividad personal y nuestras obras o cualquier otro tipo de ayuda.
*Cooperación*
Las palomas se entienden bajo la forma de una plataforma activa. Estando nosotros mismos en la complejidad del día a día, queremos apoyar en la medida de lo posible a los artistas se parecen a nosotros, por su trayectoria profesional o por sus ideas, por sus valores o por su carácter, su gentileza…
“Las Palomas Volátiles” es un grupo abierto con el objetivo de valorar la cooperación con nuevos artistas y la experimentación.
Estos intercambios alimentan e inspiran al colectivo. Dan espacio para conocerse, para intentar y aprender el uno del otro. Para equivocarnos tranquilamente y sin presión o para ganar confianza personal y estar orgullosos de nosotros mismos.
*Compartir*
Los mensajes vehiculizados por el arte deben buscar coherencia con el contexto en el cuál la obra toma forma. Así, definimos nuestra manera de hacer “arte comprometido”.
Descentralizar el arte, promoverlo fuera de los teatro para llevarlo ahí dónde está menos divulgado, en las calles, en los lugares no-convencionales, las ruralidades.

Claro está, el arte está en todas partes y siempre lo estará. Pero hay que cultivarlo, escucharlo, cuidarlo.
*Inspiradores*
Pensamos en todas las personas que nos hemos encontrados y que nos han inspirado. Estas personas que se mueven y revindican otras maneras de hacer arte y otras maneras de vivir.

Vamos a crear palomeros dónde el arte pueda ser un momento para dialogar, debatir, para liberar tensiones emocionales, para encontrarse.
Para dejar volar la cultura, una cultura inclusiva con la cuál nos podamos identificar.
Aletearemos con ganas y disfrutaremos de nuestras vidas lo mejor posible basándonos en la entreayuda y la curiosidad. .
Como palomas,hacemos con lo que tenemos, volamos en todos los sentidos,
y menos mal que no sabemos a dónde vamos.

of the Las Palomas collective
*Collective demand*
We are emergents, with little professional experience to our name, who refuse to abandon our profession when faced with politics of culture leading us to an evermore rigid and digitalised selection process.
Art should remain social, not elitist. In order to not be systematically on the permission of “the others”, we will no longer wait for a hand to be given to us, we shall give it to ourselves.
In the artistic world, it is all too often required for contracting entities to require more than 3 years of professional experience from candidates. This is very limiting.
It is competition, discrimination, and the cost of education that all too often disadvantages women, people of color, queer people, those in precarious situations…
If, by a stroke of luck, a candidate is selected, it is ordinary for the salary to be undignified, that they endure abuse, be it hierarchical, emotional, physical… The price to pay in order to be able to work is high, and is shared in many artistic sectors.
For this reason, we have decided that we will work only for our own dreams, on a voluntary basis.
We have chosen to educate ourselves together, in order to not reproduce an unjust system and suffer violent behavior.
We have chosen to enjoy our lives, and to claim our ideas without asking for permission !
We are the pigeons of town squares and countrysides, of Europe and America.
We are an apparently chaotic band, as we act spontaneously.
We are in the margins, as are so many artists of our generation that organize themselves to not have to quietly follow the established dynamics.
Let us follow shared and malleable ideas, not one person holding the deciding power.
Let us come together and share our knowledge.
Let us appreciate our own work, and demand our rights in order to never normalize the precarious lives of people working within the artistic sector.
*Organization*
The structure is built around various groups, without any hierarchy, and is destined to transform and expand to include new collaborators.
In order to be a happy and viable group, we regularly come together for meetings and assemblies. Together, we travel, party, and share breakfast.
Established roles are exchangeable, in order to distribute shared responsibilities and allow every pigeon to learn through practice.
We prioritize consensus as much as possible, and only resort to voting for simple decisions.
Each pigeon decides on their investment depending on what they can and are willing to provide.
*Solidarity*
We believe that we all gain from sharing information without fear of competition.
For this reason, we document all information (open calls, residences, announcements, auditions, etc…) in our shared nest, that is accessible to all who it might interest, whether they be part of the collective or not.
We believe that precariousness can influence artists to adopt individualistic behaviors, and lose a part of their integrity.
With Las Palomas, we come together to support each other, to group our knowledge together and to consider alternatives. We all have the right to call an assembly to receive emotional support, feedback on our professional activities and artwork, or any other sort of help.
*Cooperation*
Las Palomas wishes to be active as a platform. Being “broke” ourselves, we want to use the resources we do have to support the artists that resemble us, be it by their professional journey, their artistic ideas, their values, their character, their kindness…
“Las Palomas volátiles” is an open group with the goal of encouraging mutual aid and experimentation.
These exchanges feed and inspire the collective. They give us space to come together, to try, and to learn. They allow us to fail without pressure, in order to build our own confidence and be proud of ourselves.
*Sharing*
The messages conveyed by art must be looking for coherence with the context of the artwork. It is with this in mind that we define our way of making engaged art.
Decentralizing art, promoting it outside of theaters, to take it to places where is is least shown: In the streets, in unconventional locations, in the countryside.
We do not wish to say that we “posess art”, or that art exists only in theaters and grand performance halls.
Of course, art is, and will always be, everywhere, but it must be cultivated, listened to and maintained.
*Inspiradores*
We think back to all the people we have met that have inspired us.
These people take action and push for alternative ways in which to make art, different ways to exist, and different ways to coexist.

*Palomero*"Pigeon loft"
We shall create palormeros where art can be a moment to discuss, to debate, to liberate emotional tensions, to come together.
So that culture can fly, an inclusive culture to which we can identify.
We shall flap our wings and enjoy our lives to the fullest, by following values of mutual aid and curiosity.
Just like pigeons, we make do with what we have
We will fly in all directions,
and fortunately, we do not know to where we are going.
